WHAT TO EXPECT

Global Players (GP) Team Tours are based on the philosophy that participants will be travelers, not only tourists, by the end of their trip. Our programming focuses on Athletes and Teams being immersed in the Host Culture by:

  • Staying at hip hostels, homestays, or 3-4* star hotelsβ€”you choose.
  • Breaking into smaller groups for an authentic experience
  • Taking local transport as much as possible
  • Cooking classes with local ingredients
  • Market, Museum, and City Tours
PRICING

We believe travel is for everyone. Therefore we offer three (3) pricing options for Teams with different Budgets:

  • Option 1: $195 per person β€” Program Deposit + Development Everyone starts here. In this stage, we create a Custom Itinerary based on your Sport, Dates, Destination, and Tour Vision. Then you get a ‘live’ version with direct links/contacts to GP Partners all over the world including Teams, Tournaments, Tours, Travel, Accommodation, Restaurants and more. If saving money is a priority, you can save up to $500-800 per person making bookings directly with GP Partners supporting you in-country.
  • Option 2: $495 per person β€” We make the Bookings No time? No problem. If you would like Global Players to make the bookings for Tours 10 days or more, we can do that. Once everything is booked and paid in full, you will meet directly with our amazing GP Partners in-country. These are the same Partners we use!
  • Option 3: $2495 per person β€” Full Execution + Program Leader If you would like a full-time Program Leader with your Tour, this option is for you. Global Players will make the bookings for you and lead the trip in-country. Your Program Leader is with the group 24/7, providing local insight and handling on-tour logistics.

HOW IT WORKS

We created 5-day Tours to mix-n-match! To build a 10-day tour, choose 2 cities, enter you preferred Start Date, # of Travelers, and add both to your cart.

Booking:Β  During checkout, please indicate your TEAM NAME and if you would like Option 2 or 3 under “add a note to your order”. If Athletes are paying separately, make sure everyone selects the same Tour(s) and Option. One point person is designated to work with Global Players, for example a Coach or Team Manager.

Payments: If you choose Option 2 or 3, you will have 3 payments. The non-refundable Deposit ($195 per person) is charged at booking to start your Program Development. We will bill you later for the Booking Fee ($300 per person) and Remaining Balance (variable).

Next Steps: Once your Booking is received, a dedicated GP Tour Consultant will contact you to start planning your Tour!

Key Considerations:

This itinerary combines sports training, safari experiences and cultural experiences in Kenya.

Best Time to Go:

June to October is the peak tourist season and the best time for wildlife viewing, especially during the Great Migration in the Maasai Mara. The weather is dry and cool, making it comfortable for safaris. January to February is also a great option as it is a relatively dry period and Wildlife is still abundant with pleasant weather.

Kenya, a wild adventure for Athletes and Teams craving a taste of Africa. Start with a safari in the Maasai Mara, where lions, elephants, and giraffes roam freely. It's like living in a real-life nature documentary as you witness the Great Migration and snap photos of breathtaking landscapes. Head to Nairobi, the vibrant capital, for a mix of city buzz and wildlife conservation. The David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust lets you hang out with baby elephants, and the Giraffe Centre gets you up close with these long-necked creatures. Dive into local markets for colorful Maasai crafts and try nyama choma, grilled meat that's a Kenyan delicacy. For a splash of culture, visit the Maasai villages to learn about their traditions and dances. End your Kenyan adventure at the coastal paradise of Diani Beach, with its white sands and crystal-clear waters. Whether you're on a safari, exploring the city, or chilling by the beach, Kenya is a diverse and vibrant destination for travelers seeking an African escapade.
