WHAT TO EXPECT

Let’s help Costa Rica Lacrosse fill one spot in their June tournament!

Please plan to arrive at the hotel in San José no later than 3:30pm on Friday, June 7th. There will be a Opening Ceremony and Welcome Dinner with all the Teams Friday evening. Games will start early Saturday morning, June 8th, followed by a Players Clinic and Meet-n-Greet Saturday and Sunday. After the Tournament Weekend we will travel through Costa Rica to our Adventure Sport Activities. You are welcome to extend your stay before or after the tour. Early June is a great time to be in Costa Rica!

REGISTRATION

Register as a TEAM (Age 16+) Register a whole team or part of a team (8 players minimum). Seniors and Alumni who never got to do an international tour? This is perfect! Share this link with your Players and put your Team Name in the NOTE when you book this tour.
Register as an ATHLETE (Age 16+) You can register as an individual Athlete and join our Global Players Team or one of the National Teams! We need 8 players minimum to enter a team — so bring a friend! Tell us your name, position, and uniform size in the NOTE when you book this tour.

Day 1: June 7 – Arrival in San Jose

Afternoon: Welcome to Costa Rica 💜
Arrive in San Jose and settle into accommodation.
Opening Ceremony with National Teams from Costa Rica, Jamaica and Mexico!

Evening: Welcome Dinner 🍽️
Welcome dinner at a local eatery featuring Costa Rican cuisine.

Day 2: June 8 – Lacrosse Tournament Day 1 🏆

Morning: Breakfast 🌄

ALL DAY: Participate in the Lacrosse Tournament in Olympic Sixes Format🔥
Lunch Included.

Evening: Team dinner (included) to celebrate the day’s games 🎉

Day 3: June 9 – Lacrosse Tournament Day 2 🏆

Morning: Breakfast 🌄

ALL DAY: Continue participating in the Lacrosse Tournament in Olympic Sixes Format🔥

Evening: Post-tournament celebration dinner at a local restaurant or team barbecue.

Day 4: June 9 – Players Connect 💜

Morning: Breakfast 🌄
Connect at our Meet-n-Greet with International Players.

Afternoon: Free time to explore San Jose 🏙️
Lunch included.

Evening: Return to San Jose🚆
Return to San Jose, relax, and have dinner at a local Costa Rican grill.
Team reflection and sharing highlights.

Day 5: June 10 – White Water Rafting 🌊

Morning: Breakfast 🌄
Early departure for a white water rafting adventure on the Balsa River.

Afternoon: White Water Rafting 🌊
Enjoy a thrilling white water rafting experience with
class III and IV rapids. Lunch included.

Evening: Return to San Jose 🚆
Return to San Jose, relax, and have dinner at a local Costa Rican grill.

Day 5: June 11 – Volcano Hike 🌋

Morning: Breakfast 🌄
Depart for a self-guided hike up Arenal Volcano and through the Cloud Forest.
Explore the unique flora and fauna of the area.

Afternoon: Enjoy a picnic lunch amidst the stunning natural surroundings. 🌳

Evening: Farewell Dinner 🍽️
Return to San Jose for your farewell dinner at a local restaurant.
Closing remarks and reflections on the trip.

Day 6: June 12 – Travel Day ✈️

Breakfast + Travel day✈️: return home with language basics, travel skills, new friends, and lifelong memories!
