WHAT TO EXPECT
Global Players (GP) Team Tours are based on the philosophy that participants will be travelers, not only tourists, by the end of their trip. Our programming focuses on Athletes and Teams being immersed in the Host Culture by:
We believe travel is for everyone. Therefore we offer three (3) pricing options for Teams with different Budgets:
HOW IT WORKS
We created 5-day Tours to mix-n-match! To build a 10-day tour, choose 2 cities, enter you preferred Start Date, # of Travelers, and add both to your cart.
Booking: During checkout, please indicate your TEAM NAME and if you would like Option 2 or 3 under “add a note to your order”. If Athletes are paying separately, make sure everyone selects the same Tour(s) and Option. One point person is designated to work with Global Players, for example a Coach or Team Manager.
Payments: If you choose Option 2 or 3, you will have 3 payments. The non-refundable Deposit ($195 per person) is charged at booking to start your Program Development. We will bill you later for the Booking Fee ($300 per person) and Remaining Balance (variable).

Training with Local or National Teams if possible.
Morning: Breakfast and Cultural Orientation 🌄
Late Morning: Surf Trip 🏄♂️
Training session with a Local or National Team.
Depart for a surf lesson at one of Lisbon’s nearby beaches.
Afternoon: Skydiving 🪂
Skydiving experience near Lisbon.
Return to the city for some downtime.
Evening: Team Bonding 🍽️
Dinner at a trendy seafood restaurant.
Team bonding and reflection.
Morning: Explore Belém 🏙️
Morning training session with a Local or National Team.
Explore Belém, visiting the Jerónimos Monastery and the Belém Tower.
Late Morning – Early Afternoon 🏞️
Bungee jumping experience at the 25 de Abril Bridge.
Leisure time for shopping or relaxation.
Afternoon: Bike Tour 🚴♀️
Sunset bike tour along the riverfront.
Evening: Belém District 🍽️
Dinner in the historic Belém district.
Team meeting and reflection on the day’s experiences.
Morning: Professional Soccer Match 🏟️
Morning training session with a Local or National Team.
Attend a professional soccer match or another sporting event.
Afternoon: Cultural Day 🏛️
Visit the Lisbon Oceanarium or the MAAT (Museum of Art, Architecture, and Technology).
Lunch at a local market or food market.
Late Afternoon: Segwey Tour 🛴
Segway tour through Lisbon’s historic neighborhoods.
Evening: Team Dinner 🍽️
Dinner at a Fado restaurant for a traditional Portuguese music experience.
Team reflection and sharing highlights.
Morning: Friendly Match 🏆
Participate in a friendly game against a Local or National Team.
Post-match ceremony and group photo.
Afternoon: Leisure Time 🛍️
Visit to LX Factory.
Visit São Pedro de Alcântara Belvedere for final photos.
Evening: Farewell Dinner 🍽️
Farewell dinner at a local restaurant.
Closing remarks and reflections on the trip.
