WHAT TO EXPECT

Global Players (GP) Team Tours are based on the philosophy that participants will be travelers, not only tourists, by the end of their trip. Our programming focuses on Athletes and Teams being immersed in the Host Culture by:

Staying at hip hostels, homestays, or 3-4* star hotels—you choose.
Breaking into smaller groups for an authentic experience
Taking local transport as much as possible
Cooking classes with local ingredients
Market, Museum, and City Tours

PRICING

We believe travel is for everyone. Therefore we offer three (3) pricing options for Teams with different Budgets:

Option 1: $95 per person — Program Deposit + Development Everyone starts here. In this stage, we create a Custom Itinerary based on your Sport, Dates, Destination, and Tour Vision. Then you get a ‘live’ version with direct links/contacts to GP Partners all over the world including Teams, Tournaments, Tours, Travel, Accommodation, Restaurants and more. If saving money is a priority, you can save up to $500-800 per person making bookings directly with GP Partners supporting you in-country.
Option 2: $495 per person — We make the Bookings No time? No problem. If you would like Global Players to make the bookings for Tours 10 days or more, we can do that. Once everything is booked and paid in full, you will meet directly with our amazing GP Partners in-country. These are the same Partners we use!
Option 3: $2495 per person — Full Execution + Program Leader If you would like a full-time Program Leader with your Tour, this option is for you. Global Players will make the bookings for you and lead the trip in-country. Your Program Leader is with the group 24/7, providing local insight and handling on-tour logistics.

HOW IT WORKS

We created 5-day Tours to mix-n-match! To build a 10-day tour, choose 2 cities, enter you preferred Start Date, # of Travelers, and add both to your cart.

Booking: During checkout, please indicate your TEAM NAME and if you would like Option 2 or 3 under “add a note to your order”. If Athletes are paying separately, make sure everyone selects the same Tour(s) and Option. One point person is designated to work with Global Players, for example a Coach or Team Manager.

Payments: If you choose Option 2 or 3, you will have 3 payments. The non-refundable Deposit ($195 per person) is charged at booking to start your Program Development. We will bill you later for the Booking Fee ($300 per person) and Remaining Balance (variable).

Next Steps: Once your Booking is received, a dedicated GP Tour Consultant will contact you to start planning your Tour!

Day 1: Arrival Day

Morning: Welcome to Switzerland 💜
Arrive in Zurich and settle into accommodation.
Welcome briefing and orientation by tour guides.

Afternoon: City Exploration 🏙️
Guided walking tour of Zurich’s Old Town (Altstadt) and
Bahnhofstrasse shopping street.
Lunch at a traditional Swiss restaurant.

Evening: Welcome Dinner 🍽️
Welcome dinner at a lakeside restaurant.
Training with Local or National Teams if possible.

Day 2: Lake Zurich and Extreme Adventures

Morning: Breakfast and Cultural Orientation 🌄

Late Morning: Training Session 🔥
Intensive training session with a Local or National Team.

Afternoon: Boat Trip 🚤
Enjoy a boat trip on Lake Zurich.

Late Afternoon: Skydiving 🪂
Skydiving experience over the Swiss Alps.
Return to Zurich for relaxation or optional activities.

Evening: Team Dinner 🍽️
Dinner in the trendy Zurich West district.
Team bonding and reflection.

Day 3: Interlaken Adventure

Morning: Travel to Interlaken 🚆
Morning training session with a Local or National Team.
Travel to Interlaken, surrounded by mountains and lakes.

Afternoon: Bungee Jumping 🏞️
Bungee jumping at the Stockhorn Bridge.
Explore Interlaken’s charming streets and shops.

Evening: Lake Thun 🌄
Dinner in a traditional Swiss fondue restaurant.
Evening stroll along Lake Thun.

Day 4: Scenic Bike Tour and Friendly Game

Morning: Bike Tour 🚴‍♀️
Morning training session with a Local or National Team.
Bike tour around Lake Lucerne, passing through picturesque landscapes.

Afternoon: Friendly Match 🔥
Friendly game or local tournament against a Swiss team.

Evening: Team Dinner 🍽️
Dinner in the heart of Lucerne’s Old Town.
Team reflection and sharing highlights.

Day 5: Farewell and Friendly Match

Morning: Friendly Match 🏆
Participate in a friendly game against a Local or National Team.
Post-match ceremony and group photo.

Afternoon: Leisure Time 🏛️
Visit the Swiss National Museum or Zurich Zoo.
Capture final photos at a scenic spot in Zurich.

Evening: Farewell Dinner 🍽️
Farewell dinner at a restaurant in Queenstown.
Closing remarks and reflections on the trip.

DAY 6: Travel Day

Breakfast + Travel day✈️: return home with language basics, travel skills, new friends, and lifelong memories!

For a taste of Swiss chocolate, explore artisanal chocolatiers, and don't miss out on sampling traditional fondue or raclette.
