WHAT TO EXPECT
Global Players (GP) Team Tours are based on the philosophy that participants will be travelers, not only tourists, by the end of their trip. Our programming focuses on Athletes and Teams being immersed in the Host Culture by:
We believe travel is for everyone. Therefore we offer three (3) pricing options for Teams with different Budgets:
HOW IT WORKS
We created 5-day Tours to mix-n-match! To build a 10-day tour, choose 2 cities, enter you preferred Start Date, # of Travelers, and add both to your cart.
Booking: During checkout, please indicate your TEAM NAME and if you would like Option 2 or 3 under “add a note to your order”. If Athletes are paying separately, make sure everyone selects the same Tour(s) and Option. One point person is designated to work with Global Players, for example a Coach or Team Manager.
Payments: If you choose Option 2 or 3, you will have 3 payments. The non-refundable Deposit ($195 per person) is charged at booking to start your Program Development. We will bill you later for the Booking Fee ($300 per person) and Remaining Balance (variable).

Arrive in Rome and settle into accommodation.
Welcome briefing and orientation by tour guides.
Afternoon: Walking Tour 🏙️
Guided walking tour of the historic center, including the Colosseum and Roman Forum.
Team-building activities at Circus Maximus.
Evening: Welcome Dinner 🍽️
Welcome dinner at a rooftop restaurant with panoramic views.
Training with Local or National Teams if possible.
Morning: Breakfast and Cultural Orientation 🌄
Late Morning: Training Session 🔥
Intensive training session with a Local or National Team.
Afternoon: Bike Tour 🚴♀️
Bike tour through the charming streets of Trastevere.
Free time for lunch.
Late Afternoon: Sporting Activities 🏞️
Adventure sports activities, such as parkour or street workout in Villa Borghese Park.
Evening: Team Dinner 🍽️
Team dinner at a restaurant offering authentic Roman cuisine.
Morning: Pompeii 🚆
Day trip to Pompeii to explore the ancient ruins.
Team-building activities at Pompeii.
Afternoon: Return to Rome 🏛️
Return to Rome.
Visit to the Capitoline Museums or the Borghese Gallery for cultural enrichment.
Evening: Team Dinner 🍽️
Dinner at a local osteria for authentic Roman cuisine.
Team meeting and reflection on the day’s experiences.
Morning: Professional Sports Event 🏟️
Morning training session with a Local or National Team.
Attend a professional rugby or soccer match.
Afternoon: Explore the City 🏙️
Free time or explore Rome’s landmarks like the Vatican City and the Pantheon.
Evening: Opera 🎭
Opera or theater performance at Teatro dell’Opera di Roma, followed by dinner.
Morning: Friendly Match 🏆
Participate in a friendly game against a Local or National Team.
Post-match ceremony and group photo.
Afternoon: Leisure Time 🛍️
Free time or visit Trevi Fountain and toss a coin in for good luck.
Evening: Farewell Dinner 🍽️
Farewell dinner and celebration at a restaurant with a terrace overlooking Rome.
Closing remarks and reflections on the trip.
Breakfast + Travel day✈️: return home with language basics, travel skills, new friends, and lifelong memories!
